India’s First Horror Film Fest Is Here

There are Film Festivals and then there are Film Festivals that grab your attention and make you create a reminder on your social calendar, the Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival is the latter. It is a Film Festival that’s specifically made for horror films. The Festival will screen horror short films and the best will win prizes, up to 375,000 INR.

Jeffrey Reddick, the horror writer behind the seminal ‘Final Destination’ is one of the Panel Members. He is flanked by some of the most talented names in the Bollywood Industry.

It is a Film Festival that’s specifically made for horror films. The Festival will screen horror short films and the best horror films will win prizes, up to 375,000 INR.

The festival is the brain-child of a company named ‘Sixth Sense’ and it has roped in some impressive panel members to judge the scariest horror movies out of their list of horror movies. Heading the panel is ‘Final Destination’ writer, Jeffrey Reddick, the writer of Final Destination, the franchise that had some of the most scary movies.

The other members of the panel are Amit Parmar, whose editing work we have seen in RGV’s films like ‘Darna Zaroori Hai’, one of the scariest movies coming out of Bollywood and ‘Krissh’, among others. The other members of the panel are Akshay Shere, Shakil Khan, and Shritej Patwardhan.

The film fest will take place from May 19 to May 21 in Mumbai. The screenings will be at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Dadar, (Mumbai) and the prize ceremony will be at Yeshwantrao Chavan Hall, Colaba, (Mumbai).
