Shane Black Says Not All CGI In Upcoming Predator Film

Horror and Sci-fi purists will tell you that very few directors can get CGI correct. In fact, many sci-fi directors keep away from the fads, like 3D, because they still love what their prosthetics and props they can wag around – using effects only where absolutely necessary. This controversy has been going on for a while and looks like Shane Black has taken his stand, with this one simple tweet:

With this tweet, Shane has announced that the upcoming Predator film will not be just graphics mumbo jumbo but will also feature some good ole guy-in-a-suit effects. We are sure that the retro crowd will love that.

The Predator series is one of the most seminal franchises in Hollywood and Shane is directing the 2018 film, which is quite simply titled ‘Predator’. Before that, the Predator series will see the release of Predator: Covenant, directed by Ridley Scott and releasing sometime in May, 2017.
