Corin Hardy Starts Shooting for ‘The Nun’

If there’s one spin-off that’s really caught our attention, it’s The Nun. The ‘The Conjuring’ spin-off is being prepped for a ’18 release and director Corin Hardy will be directing the film. This will be the first time that Corin will direct a full length feature. He has earlier directed the short films ‘Butterfly’, ‘Strangers’, ‘The Horrors: She Is The New Thing’ and is also set to direct ‘The Crow’. Rumors are that The Crow will star Jason Momoa.  ‘The Nun’ stars Taissa Farmiga, Bonnie Aarons, Demián Bichir, Jonas Bloquet and others.

We are quite happy that Hollywood directors and producers are not that secretive about their sets and props like the ones in Bollywood are. Corin was kind enough to put up a photo of what looks like him with a coffin prop. In fact, the guys in that prop.

Does this mean that The Nun will have a coffin scene, or maybe a cemetery scene? We should confess that The Conjuring 1 and 2 had some really scary moments. Since that time, we don’t look at the wall hanging paintings in our house the same way we used to do before we saw the film. In our books, The Conjuring 2 is one of the most scary horror films.  Will Corin Hardy’s ‘The Nun’ have us skip the road lined with a cemetery in the night next? Time will tell.
