Take it or leave it, Bollywood horror can’t do without the Ramsays. The name is synonymous with pulp horror. For years, the Ramsays were unreachable – for many reasons. Fortunately for the sheer passion of film-making, they are slowly coming back into the limelight. And now, Horror fans can now read their story in a book that releases next month, titled ‘Don’t Disturb the Dead: The Story of the Ramsay Brothers’.
The book promises to have interviews of the Ramsays and people who have worked with them. Press excerpts say that the author of the book has talked to the Ramsays, Aarti Gupta, Mohnish Behl and others. They also have the same line that we have heard elsewhere about Hemant Birje, that guy doesn’t like talking about the Ramsays because he thinks that those films weren’t good for his career.
The book promises to be a must-buy for anyone who’s interested in Bollywood and Bollywood horror. With so many interviews and anecdotes, this one is bound to keep people busy for a long, long while. You can pre-book this book on Amazon from here:
