Jeffrey Reddick’s ‘Dead Awake’ Is Up For Screenings

Jeffrey Reddick gave us the fantastic ‘Final Destination’ series. He was in India recently for the inauguration of the first ever Indian Horror Short Film series. And now, his latest film, ‘Dead Awake’ is being screened in select theaters. The film deals with sleep paralysis, a concept that’s interested horror and supernatural fans around the world for years. The film stars Jocelin Donahue, Jesse Bradford, Lori Petty, Brea Grant, Jesse Borego and James Eckhouse.  Select theaters in NY, LA, Atlanta, AMC and Bradeton will play the film. Horror fans can buy the tickets over at the website.

The trailer of the film has been around for a while and looks promising. This is one of the first films that’s based on sleep paralysis and therefore, REM. You can view the trailer here:

Fun Fact: Jeffrey has a cameo in the film. He can be seen having a ‘let’s hope this goes well’ look in the initial party scene.
