Stephen King has announced what could be the first clash of his worlds, Cujo’s dog will be seen in the streets of New York in King’s upcoming film adaptation of his classic horror book, ‘The Dark Tower’.
Cujo is one of the first Hollywood horror films that I have seen. I confess, the film scared the daylights out of me and was a thrill ride that I wasn’t quite ready for, but I survived. It was only later in life did I read that the child was actually supposed to die in the film, but the film makers didn’t want to go ahead with that idea.
Meanwhile, The Dark Tower film is one of the most anticipated ones in Hollywood horror history. The film stars Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey. The film’s trailer has garnered a positive response and there’s a lot of talk about the film, that releases in August. The cast of the film includes Tom Taylor (Doctor Foster) as Jake Chambers, Abbey Lee (Mad Max: Fury Road) as Tirana, Fran Kranz (The Cabin in the Woods) as Pimli, Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen) as Richard Sayre, Michael Barbieri (Little Men) as Timmy, Claudia Kim (Avengers: Age of Ultron) as Arra Champignon and Katheryn Winnick (Vikings) as Laurie Chambers.
