Elena Verdugo of ‘House of Frankenstein’ is no More

Elena Verdugo, who starred in three horror films in the 40s is no more. She was 92. Elena had starring roles in Universal’s ‘House of Frankenstein’, ‘The Frozen Ghost’ and the adventure film, ‘Thief of Damascus’ in 1952.

Apart from film, Elena also did some TV, like the 1970s drama Marcus Webley M.D. The series ran for seven seasons, from 1969 onwards. She also had recurring roles in the TV series had recurring roles on the short-lived TV series Redigo, The New Phil Silvers Show, Many Happy Returns and the Juliet Prowse starrer Mona McCluskey.
