Patty Jenkins has wowed audiences with her take on the DC superhero, Wonder Woman in the self-titled film that’s hit theaters. Now, she has signed up with Shudder for an horror film. The film, titled ‘Riprore’, has an interesting, if very synopsis at the moment. According to the film-makers:
Riprore, which focuses on the heart of gangland Los Angeles, where a gruesome discovery sparks a frenetic homicide investigation, but underneath the surface lurks a darkness that leads to the end of days. It’s from Sam Sheridan, former MMA fighter and author of A Fighter’s Heart and The Disaster Diaries, with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins attached. Riprore is part of the original line-up for Shudder that’s headlined by Primal Fear, a horror documentary by Rodney Ascher.
We loved the way Patty Jenkins portrayed Wonder Woman and told the story on the big screen. The action sequences are brilliant, the story and script are tighter and a tad more entertaining than the other super hero films that we saw. The film proves that Jenkins how to portray high drama on screen. We are looking out for this one.
