Kunika Sadanand give us Bandh Darwaza feels all over again

Kunika Sadanand has had a great run in Bollywood. One of the few versatile actresses who could do comedy as well as drama, she was a staple in Bollywood since the 80s. We have seen her in every role possible – the jealous village belle, just a village belle, the main’s friend who will die, the vamp, the besotted friend and all that. But for Bollywood horror fans, Kunika Sadanand will always remain the parallel lead in ‘Bandh Darwaza’ and ‘Mahaakal’.

In the 80s, and many TV actors were making their foray into Bollywood. Along with contemporaries like Ameeta Nangia, Kunika took the plunge into Bollywood with Kabrastan, a horror film. This was her debut. From there, she went on to act in more than a 100 films in 25 years.
