This streaming channel has acquired the rights to The Exorcist series

Amazon has put it’s hat in the ring by buying the streaming rights for the Fox television series Exorcist for more than 200 countries.

Web series based on horror films are quite successful. Currently, Netflix has the monopoly of making these. So, users from the UK and other countries will be able to stream the first season of Exorcist, even as the second season premieres in September 29.

The Exorcist first debuted on Fox in September 23.  It was based on the William Peter Blatty novel of the same name and is a sequel to the original 1973 film. The 10 episode series has received positive response from fans and critics alike. It has also been nominated for several awards at the People’s Choice Awards, Saturn Awards, American Society of Cinematographers Awards and the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards.
